স্যাট কি? এবং কেন?
স্যাট এর উদ্দেশ্যঃ “শিক্ষা নিয়ে বাণিজ্য নয়, আসুন শিক্ষা বাণিজ্যকে না বলি” এই স্লোগানকে সামনে রেখে পথ চলাই স্যাট এর মূল উদ্দেশ্য। স্যাট একটি বিশ্বস্ত নাম যা বর্তমান বাংলাদেশের বেকার সমস্য দূরিকরনের মূল হাতিয়ার হতে পারে। কম্পিউটারের বিভিন্ন বেসিক এবং এডভান্স লেভেল এর কাজ শিক্ষা দিয়ে দেশের শিক্ষিত অল্প শিক্ষিত জনবলকে দক্ষ করে এবং বিশ্ব বাজারে কর্ম উপযোগী করে গড়ে তোলে দেশের অর্থনীতিতে অবদান রাখবে। সেই সাথে দেশের প্রতিটি ঘরে ঘরে আইটি বিষয়ক দক্ষ জনবল গড়ে তোলার জন্য বিনামূল্যে প্রশিক্ষণ প্রদানই এর মূল লক্ষ্য ও উদ্দেশ্য।
শিক্ষা বাণিজ্য দূরিকরণঃ বাংলাদেশের মত একটি দেশের শিক্ষার নাম করে শিক্ষার্থীদের নিকট হতে বিভিন্ন প্রাইভেট প্রতিষ্ঠান গুলো লক্ষ লক্ষ টাকা হাতিয়ে নিচ্ছে। কিন্তু দুঃখ জনক হলেও সত্যি আমাদের দেশের জনগণ লক্ষ লক্ষ টাকা ব্যয় দক্ষ হচ্ছে না ফলে বহিঃ বিশ্বে বাংলাদেশের আইটি সেক্টরের গুণগত মান দিন দিন নষ্ট হচ্ছে। আইটি বিষয়ে দক্ষ জনবল না দেশ বঞ্চিত হচ্ছে বৈদেশিক মুদ্রা সহ অন্যান্য সুবিধা। এই দক্ষ জনবল গড়ার ধারাবাহিকতায় স্যাট এই শিক্ষা বাণিজ্যকে না বলে এবং তীব্র নিন্দা জানায়।
স্যাট বর্তমান কার্যক্রমঃ শিক্ষা বাণিজ্য দূরিকরণ, বিনামূল্যে শিক্ষা সেবা, দেশ এবং জাতিকে ডিজিটালাইজেশন করা লক্ষ্যে স্যাট বর্তমানে অনেক গুলো কার্যক্রম শুরু করছে। ইতিমধ্যে স্যাট বর্তমান কার্যক্রম দেশ ও বহিঃবিশ্বে মানুষের কাছে অনেক জনপ্রিয় হয়ে উঠেছে। অত্যন্ত সুনাম এবং মানবতার উপকার স্বার্থে সৃষ্ট স্যাট এর বর্তমান কার্যক্রম গুলো হলো ঃ
