Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing regular Database Administration activities with different database platforms (e.g. Oracle, IBM DB2, mysql, mssql).
• Perform installation, configuration, patching, up gradation, diagnostic and maintenance of all DB platforms.
• Perform Data backup activities through TSM applications, Tape library and Drive.
• Perform security configuration of DB platforms through Oracle AVDF.
• Installation, configuration and maintenance of Security, High Availability and DR solutions.
• Tune all database instance components including SQL and PL/SQL code.
• Implementation and troubleshooting of database backup/recovery related issues.
• Ensure regular database related deployments, releases. Capacity assessment, performance reporting of database environment.

Educational Requirements

• Minimum B.Sc Engineering degree in CSEIEEE/ ECE/ ETE from any UGC approved local University or reputed foreign university with satisfactory academic track record. Master’s degree is preferred.

Additional Requirements

• Minimum 08 years of experience in Database Administration track.
• Certification on DBA track (Oracle/ IBM DB2/ MSSQL/ MYSQL) is preferred.
• Must be familiar with other database platforms. (e.g. Postgres sql, manadb, mongodb & others)
• Experience in implementing & maintaining different solutions like Oracle RAC, Golden gate, active data guard in a large heterogeneous production environment is preferred.
• Clear concept of Cloud database, Data Warehousing, Database migration, Disc based backup solution, Data Science, Service Oriented Architecture, Bl& data security is preferred.
• Clear concept of Disk based backup solution.
• Basic understanding of encryption technologies and Core Banking Software.
• Excellent interpersonal skill and Strong communication skills (both oral and written).
• Critical thinking, skeptic judgment and proactive decision making.
• Cross-cultural sensitivity, flexible worldview, emotional maturity and physical stamina.
